Established in 2016–2017, the Specialty Center Vocal Ensemble is our choral ensemble comprised of all of the Vocal Specialty students in the SCFA. Founded by our Specialty Center for the Arts Coordinator, Mr. Jamie Barrack, this ensemble is limited to the select group of Vocal Specialty freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors in the Specialty Center for the Arts. This group performs advanced musical selections in many different styles of choral literature, such as classical secular and sacred, contemporary secular and sacred, jazz, gospel, holiday, and more. Students will learn/continue the foundations and advanced technique of choral singing,  stage presence and performance, and the benefits of working as a group to achieve a goal. This group annually performs at special events both at Thomas Dale High School and throughout the community.
