Treble Choir is a beginning treble ensemble for freshmen. This choir is a good introduction to the wonderful world of chorus. This group is the starting point for anyone interested in singing or those continuing from earlier grades.

As a member, students learn the importance of teamwork, discipline, stage presence, vocal technique, musicianship, practice and detail work, and much more. Curriculum also includes the fundamentals of choral music including beginning sight-singing, basic music theory, correct vocal tone production, and ensemble technique.

Through a good balance between hard work and fun, the environment of this choir strives to make all students feel welcome, appreciated, and leave all choir activities feeling pride in their accomplishments.

Students may request placement in this choir when requesting classes in 8th grade, as no audition is required. A mandatory parent/student meeting is held in May to give information for the next year (e.g. the Chorus Calendar, financial information, trip information – if applicable for that year, etc.).
