Commonwealth Choral Invitational

We are excited to welcome you to Thomas Dale High School for the 2026 Commonwealth Choral Invitational!
We want to give choral students the opportunity for a wonderful experience that encourages competitors to cheer each other on with good will and support that will be remembered for a lifetime! Thank you for helping us do so as competitors, volunteers, or audience members!
Almost 40 ensembles will be performing over 3 days, representing 15 different schools from across Virginia, including competition set exhibitions from the Thomas Dale Choral Department's own competitive choirs: Chamber Ensemble, Knightingales, and Knight Scene! Please join us in our state-of-the art auditorium for three days of choral performance in a positive and supportive environment.

Aaron Back
He is almost as pleased to be “back” at CCI as we are to have him. Aaron Back, a Thomas Dale Alumnus, has been our MC Extraordinaire and a highlight of CCI for 4 years!

Iyana Wells
Iyana Wells is a sophomore music major at VCU! She is also a Thomas Dale alumna! She is currently working on becoming a future music educator and teaching in the classroom, but she also performs on the side! She is excited to be an MC for CCI 2026!

Kendall Wells
Kendall Wells graduated from Thomas Dale High School in 2025 and will be a MC tonight. She was a member of the Chamber Choir, Knight Scene & Knightingales. She was also part of the Orchestra at Thomas Dale and was Chorus Representative for the Tri-M Music Honor Society for two years. She now attends Randolph- Macon College with a major in Nursing and a minor in Music. She continues to do show choir for LUXE at RMC and loves all things musical.
